When did we realize that such a word even exists, and what does it really mean to our world? Is there a way we can learn about the history of the word itself—not the rise of technologies, but the history of the word “technology”? Let’s take a trip back in time. The word "technology" comes from two Greek words: "techne" and "logia." "Techne" means "craft" or "skill," referring to the knowledge or ability to create something with expertise.
